Gauge rebuild question

Hello;

I have found on the net a partial article on using ether to rebuild the bourdon type gauge. Is there anyone out here who kows how to do the rebuild of this style gauge from start to finish?

If nothing else most welding shops have access to a gauge/regulator rebuilding service. They should be able to help.

I htink I find hope. Came on an article where you get a donor tube"gauge, then while keeping the bourdon tub FROZEN, you make a splice onto the old A/C gauge.
I haven"t done it maysel f yet, but may post the results weh I do.
