1) What is the number of turns (of the steering wheel) from full left to full righr on a WD narrow front without power steering?
2) Will the front pedestal or bolster from a WC fit a WD?

From a previous post, I am of the understanding that aftermarket steering gears were available that made manual steering easier. I'm gonna visit some salvage yards, jack up the front of the tractors, and check it out. Thanks...RP

I wonder if the WC steering box didn't have more turns lock to lock. Every WC that I have had steered easier than all of the WD tractors (the boxes are interchangeable). Let us know what you find. Thanks,

Pedestals do interchange- eight bolts and one pin in the steering knuckle. Helps to loosen one side rail for a ways back. Don't know about how many turns lock to lock.
