AC WD45 Gas vs Diesel

Can anyone help me determine the differences in the rearend & transmission gears between the gas & diesel WD45"s?

I understand the diesel WD45 is geared down to move slower than the gas model and I am trying to verify this.

I am looking for a rear end& transmission from a WD45 diesel model.

Thank you for the help.

There was a guy in IL that had a WD-45D rear section for sale in photo ads, Rick Olsen I this was his name, check there, hope this helps

the differental crown and pinion are different but transmission gears are the same. So the gaz at 1400 rpm and the diesel at 1650 rpm run at the same speed in the field. WD45 D and D17 first series use the same crown and pinion.

I can't talk to you about Specifications but I have owned and used both WD45 Gas and Wd 45 Diesel and I can't say I noticed any difference in ground speed and I used the same plow and other tools on them both. I really liked the diesel but it cost me a lot of Money to keep it running so I traded it and another Tractor when I bought my new 190 Gas. The 190 was a very versatile Tractor and it changed our whole operation to the good.
