A-C 645b frontend loader

We have several of these ,but the engines are always junk is there an ag engine application or other source of these boat anchors? 3500 series We never get over 2500 hours before they get tired or mess the bed. We have one with a detroit repower that is as troublefree as the rest of the machine. Please give me some input before I buy a big boat and put these engines to a better use._

Yes, The only part Of Allis Chalmers that was bad was the engines. There is guy named Everett Hunley that used to put Deutz engines in the tractors and now Cummins. Iveco is supposed to have replacement engines for 545 and 645 loaders or you could use Detroit. Do you have a loader forsale?
