I would like to know the fuel mixture and also my seriel No is B60387. Does anyone know the year and where it was made. For a Allis Chalmers Model B. Thanks

Sam, the tractor should run fine on straight gas, they do in the States. If you want to be pickey or going for the antique look, try the 50%-50% gas-kerosene or gas -diesel

You have a 1942 But I have never heard of the 2 tanks or mixing fuel sorry.

your B is a 42. last one built in 42 was 61400.
fuel mix, just straight gas.
card mixture setting, no main jet adjustment. Just idle. turn it in and out until it runs good. about 1 1/2 turns out. Bob

I think what old is telling you is this..... ...you already have the serial number, and you know it is an AC, Model B. Serial numbers are listed on this site, like he said. Fuel mixture? B came in two models, gas, and gas/distillate, according to the manifold. If there is a little tank under the hood, you fill that with gas, use that to start the engine, then when it is warmed up, you switch to distillate. Otherwise, there is no fuel "mixture"- you fill the main tank with gas, and run it, and enjoy!

I use 1gallon Exxon for every 2gallons Texaco.It's a four cycle engine so keep the oil out of the gas tank.Remember just gas...You can add a little heat when it starts too get cold around the middle of Octember.

Fuel mixture????? ?/ What you talking about??? As far as what the year is well I'll tell you how to find out for your self but I will not do it for you. On the left under research&info go to serial numbers, allis, then B and see where your number fits in the numbers listed. I'm tell you how because if I wanted to know that info I would have to look there and its just as easy for you to do it

just like to explaine, my allis runs on the old TVO fuel. but now they dont sell TVO. u have to mix it your self now. the big tank runs on TVO and the small tank runs on petrol. i was not being rude, just asking a question, if u read back to what ur reply was i think u was being rude in the way u wrote ur reply, ur manner. i dont know where u live but i live in the uk. maybe its different where u come from. thankyou for ur reply.

TVO?? But I'll bet what you call TVO is probably some thing like the old disalite we had years ago in the U.S. Now I can't say for sure on the Allis but when I would run my all fuel JD-B on a mix I did it 50/50 gas and diesel or gas and kero. And yes I answer stright to the point but I don't try to be rude. I also answer thing like year by serail number in a way to teach the person how to find the info them selfs. I have to look for that info in the same way so why not help the person help them self. Sort of like the old saying you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day or teach him to fish and feed him for a life time. I prefer the life time way
