I have kad no luck on the combind page so I will try here: I have a G-230 Allis-Chalmers ( Not Chevy ) power unit from an A-II Gleaner. What is the high idle for this engine? Is it the same 2310 RPM as the G-262 on my C-II Gleaner? What is the differance in a G-230 and a G262? I found out this fescue seasone that a Intake/Exhaust manifold from a G-262 will fit a G-230. I am also looking for a set of LP pistons for a G-230.

The difference is in the bore and stroke of the engines. The 230 has a bore and stroke of 3-7/16"X4-1/8" and the 262 gas has a bore and stroke of 3-9/16"X4-3/8". The high idle for this engine is the same as your CII which is 2310 RPM.
