I need a starter for a D-14 or the cast cone for one. I just got it repaired and it wrapped up the spring again.

I have a D14 with a similar issue i think. When I put voltage to the starter, the solenoid clicks, but does not engage the motor. I put power to the actual motor post, and ground, and no motor activity.

The bendix is in the engaged position, and will not retract. I took the thing apart, could not resolve the bendix, put it back together, and had the same issues.

I would like to fix what I have, but do also have a WD starter that works, are they interchangable?
