I'm working on a 6DA273 Diesel engine in a Cockshutt tractor, and I need a head gasket. Since Allis bought out the Buda engine co, I thought
I would ask here. This engine has 3 3/4" bore, and I wonder if any Allis engine has this bore.

Allis Chalmers used the 273 engine in the TL-12 front end loader the head gasket should be the same as the 262 and 230 diesel engines

Its different, the 273 has a 3 3/4" inch bore, the 230 has 3 9/16" BUT if they used a 273 maybe they have the right gasket. Thanks

We have a 230 diesel and a 262 diesel bores are different between them also and calls for the same gasket on each the bore on the cylinder head gasket is 3 and 15/16'' so putting it in a 3 and 3/4'' bore should not be an issue also knowing parts are getting harder to find there may only be one gasket made for all these engines , cylinder heads will also interchange between all three engines

Post this on the Oliver/Cockshutt Board. I know that a Mr. Phil Heisey has a lot of Cockshutt parts, and if he can't get it, nobody can.
