Can anyone tell me where i can get another transmission for my 7050? last year we had the tractor on our Kinze grain cart, and going down the fied the tractor just stoped. it wont even pull itself. when you let out on the clutch it makes a horrible banging noise. Our ag dealer told me that it would be a 8,000 to 10,000 dollar fix. THATS CRAZY. Any info would Great!!! new or used gears?

from what our local dealer said when we asked him about a 7045, he said if the transmission has "ANY" problems to run away from it and that you couldn't give it to him. because the tranny fix was more expensive than the tractor is worth. hth

all of the hydraulics still work, when you start the tractor and push on the clutch it sounds fine, soon as you let out on it, it makes a loud knocking and banging. if you put the tractor in gear it will barley kreep foward while still banging and knocking? will any other 7000 series trannys work? Thanks!!!

most any salvage yard should be able to help but you need to know where the problem is it may not be the trans. it could be the powerdirector gears, range gears, differential or final drive
