Does anyone know what the original factory spoked rims looked like? I know a lot of people made their own spoked rims via welding. Does anyone have a picture of each style?

In answer to your question. Ac equipped some pre WW11 Tractors with Round Spoked Rims ,Spokes were approximately 3/4" in dia.on the U Model. The Spokes Had a round shoulder on each end which was Swedged into the Rim and the Center section.Some pre WW11 Tractors were ordered with Steel Wheels front and back. these wheels had flatSpokes which mostly were cut down so a Rubber Tired Rim could be welded onto them.I owned a CC Case upon which this operation was performed upon to put it on Rubber Tires front and rear. My BIL had a WC AC which was transformed from Steel to Rubber by the Welding process while my Dads 1935 UC AC came from the Factory with round Spoke Rims.I have seen many of the old 10/20 ,F20/30 Farmalls ,Case's, AC's, JD's and others that were altered by welding the Flat Spokes to Rubber Tire Rims and the same Model Tractors come from the Factory with Round Spoke Rims.

I have a 1937 F-12 with the flat spokes. I have a picture, but I don"t know how to send it on this forum. I could send it to you e-mail. One of my rear rims is rusted out real bad and needs to be replaced, but I am having trouble finding one. So, I was thinking about getting just the rim and weld it to my hub. If anyone of you know of anyone who has this rim, or the rim and hub, please e-mail me.

The original [from 1933 through 1936-37] rear spoke wheels on these tractors used 24" wheels with round spokes, before switching to pressed steel 24" wheels in late 1937. WCs used 17" round spoke fronts from 1933 through early 1936 & then switched to 16" pressed steel wheels using 6-bolt hubs, switching to 5-bolt hubs in about 1938. Any WCs with flat spoke wheels & rubber tires were originally steel wheels that were "cut down" & had rims welded on to accomodate rubber tires. Kip

The rims are also quite narrow- about 9 inches wide, with a very deep drop center.
