Well I'm back,I took off the front hubs from my 39B today.Had to use a puller and only the outer bearings came out.I'm gonna have to slice the inner bearing race to get it off the spindle.Just in caseI cut the part number does anyone have the number on hand? Also I have the sycle mower that bolts underneath and lays down out to the right. On the tractor the left hand rear tire is loaded but not the right.I'm going to dismount the tires to work on the rims,do I need the left hand tire loaded for the mower or am I good without loading it.

Dave, in case like the one you describe, I've used one of these small cut off tools (blade is 2" to 3" round and about 1/6" wide - mine is an air tool) to cut as deep as I could on opposite sides of the race. Since you can't cut trough without damaging parts of the spindle, the numbers are preserved. After scoring or cutting as deep as I can, striking the cut with a cold chisel usually causes the race to break in two pieces. Put the pieces back together and read the number.

If this doesn't work, AGCO Allis should be able to give you the number. I have a CA parts manual and it shows the Allis part number as 209926 for the bearing and inner race (for the inside of the wheel) and 209983 for the outer race. These are not Timken numbers (at least I can't say that they are). I'm not sure if these bearings are the same on all B's and C's but I believe they are for the adjustable wide front axles of the B's and C's.

Fill them both or drain them both. If you have one tire loaded and one empty thats trouble and will make it fill over easier, I found that out the hard way and almost flipped one because of that. On my C I don't have fluid in either tire and it just just fine with the mid mount sickle mower like you have
