Hey Guys I just started using the electrolysis method for cleaning some of my rusted junk and am absolutely amazed at the results. This is the perfect solution for cleaning parts if you are too busy (lazy)to do a lot of wire brushing, sand blasting or whatever. This may be old hat to some of you but if you aren't famuliar with the process just get on The Cranky Yankee's website www.fboerger.com/restorationtips.html. This article is very explanitory. I just cleaned a water manifold for a WC that was horribly rusted just using Arm and Hammer Super washing soda, no lye or anything rough and after 48 hours it is ready to scrub and prime.
