D15 loader hydraulics - use traction boost?

I recently acquired a '61 D15, gas, with an A-C Model 0 loader. The loader runs off of the tractor hydraulics via the rear outlet by the seat. I can only get the loader to operate when the Traction Boost lever is all the way in the up/forward quadrant.

Is this correct? Seems to me that the loader should function with the Boost lever in any position.

Any insight?

My D-14 is set up the same as your tractor and it makes no difference where the traction booster lever is set. Mine will get slow if low on hyd. fluid, but I don't know what the traction booster would effect regarding the loader control.

I agree with you and don't know why the traction booster would have any effect on the remote hydrolics. Is your pump healthy?
