does any one have an exploded view of the steering hub seals and bearings on a 49 allis b?

are you asking about the steering gear box below the gas tank? if the seal leaks , but bearing is o.k., many will pump it full of grease and last forever. there is also a bearing and seal on the from wheel hub. the alxe king pin area just has two bronze bushings inside the tube.

I am referring to the felt seal, inner and outer wheel bearings. I bought new seals and bearings but I don't remember which way the seal faces, and also I don't know if there is a felt washer on what I will call the face of the seal.

If a seal has any kind of cup in it, or an open end- that should face the fluid you are sealing in.
