My brother in-law has a WD-45 with Freeman Model 170 Loader. He has been having a problem blowing gaskets on a valve that is located behind the seat. He shuts it off when not in use and screws it all the way out when using the loader. Problem is, it keeps blowing gaskets. Has anyone seen this type of valve? Or know how it should be assembled and used? I took pictures of it and have them at the attached URL Link. Thanks for all your help. BP

I finally figured it out. Seems on the RH side of the transport valve there is a gasket that was supposed to have 2 holes and a slot connecting them for fluid flow. My brother-in law made a solid gasket, and since I never seen the original gasket, it was a trial and error. Works like a charm now. Hope this helps anyone else that has this happens to them, Thanks for everyone help. BP

That is the Transport Valve...

It has an adjustment, to set the amount of Delay you would want, for the remote cylinder to start extending..useful especially with a semi-mounted plow... Which way to turn for delay, I can't remember..we never had to change the setting for combine or plow, but they were not all that heavy. The IH #37 disc was heavy, and it lifted that just fine, tho.. I have no idea why it would be blowing gaskets..

Ron.
