The heavy spring above the drawbar senses wheel slippage and slightly raises the mounted implement, thus putting down pressure on the drive wheels. Linkage goes from the spring to the hydraulic valve. When the valve is set for Lift-Lower, per the instructions in the manual or the battery box, you engage the system by setting the lever above the Lower position. How high you set it determines how much weight transfer you get.
