Allis WC and WD engine blocks

My allis wc block is craked between all the pistons and has a freeze crack on the side. I was offered a WD block for a good price and I was wondering if they were compatible, I was told that they were. Also will my WC head work on the WD block.

Very early WC heads didn't use the 3/8" head bolts/studs.

No. The early AC engine for the WC. Brother has a 34 with AC engine and no place for the 3/8" studs.

Both used the same 201 cu inch block. WD would have a few more horses with the higher governed speed, courtesy of a different governor spring. Bolt it in!

The WD and WC used the same engine. So yes that block is the same 100% other then a few little stuff like the tranny and maybe the gov.
