Does a 1950 model B have replaceable cam bearings
just rebuilt engine and oil pressure is low
any ideas

How low is low? Warm these engines only carry about 12 psi. Much of the lube system is splash, so if the top end is getting oil your ok.

Steve is right. They don't have much pressure to start with. They do have replaceable cam bearings. If it were mine, I would have replaced them when it was being rebuilt. All of the oil from the pump goes through the cam first, mains second, last to the rockers and filter. Another thing to consider is there is a spring in the pump for pressure regulation. If it is weak or broken or the valve is stuck, you'll have low pressure. Hope this helps, Brian.
