So I took my sleeves out and found where the o-rings are,thanks to some comments&pictures from all of you.Now I've decided to get some rod bearings,one looked worn and one pair is $17 and a whole set is $46,so I decided to get a whole set.The crank and cam haven't been removed,and the piston and sleeves are the same.But I put new rings on along with a new head,and I'm waiting for my new water pump, rod bearings,and o-rings for my sleeves.Spent alot of time on the wire wheel.there is always seems to be a new part that needs to be cleaned right after I take another part off thats been off twice before.I don't really have a question this time but I'd like to say thanks to all the advice thats got me this far...broke..well almost.Troy in Wa

You should measure the rod journals for wear or have someone do it. You may need undersize bearings. If the insert looks worn the shaft may be worn. You don't want to have to pull this engine apart again. Hal
