What is a pair of front steel wheels in good shape worth that would fit a 1938 Allis Chalmers WC. I am looking at a used tractor that I need some part from but I don't need the steel wheels.

Hey Hank The front steel wheels for a WC have appreciated a lot in the last few years. I saw some sell here in east central Mo.(1990) for $40.00, they were like new with paint still on the skid rings. The lady having the sale said her husband took delivery of a WC on steel and plowed one round with it and removed the steel and installed rubber. Anyhow, the demand for them seems to grown and the supply has not. just f.y.i. Harry

Auction March 25th $600.00 and change. After the auction a guy offered me $600.00 far a unstyled WC running with front and rear steel, including the rubber tires/ rims. Rubber was poor.

He was runner up on the front steel, and we were standing next to each other as they sold.
