Need help please...will a LeRoi power unit motor fit in my WD-45...this motor looks just like my tractor motor externaly ...Model # D226...serial # 25X25433 [on a plate on the side of hood]...cast on the side of motor is #100-174 & 5-26-53...has a Ensign duel fuel carb on it [LP or natural gas & reg. gas]...might have to change front cover ..was told that it is military surplus...sure runs good & my 45 is smoking with low oil pressure...thanks ..Kent

We had a LeRoi 226 CID lying around and the WC needed an engine. It fit right in, only interference was the exhaust pipe didn't line up with the hole in the hood. That really pepped up the old WC which I was using on the feed grinder, but the increased power ate up the PTO driver gear in the tranny. It should fit right into the WD45 chassis.
