My CA I just got running, I fix one problem and find another, oh well, the problem is the governor, the shaft that the linkage pivots on, on top of the housing, that also oils it is popping up out of the gov housing. What holds that in the housing? the gov works fine as long as the thing stays in the housing.

I have a CA that had the exact same problem. I bought a new bushing and staked the hole with a punch. I then wirewheeled the paint off and jb welded it on. It is still holding, and the thing does not go out of time anymore.
Good luck, chris.

That pin is a press fit only. That happens to a lot of those pins. I would guess that the lever starts to bind and then works the pin loose. Make sure it is clean,(all oil removed) then use loctite. Some have stated they used JB weld. I have not use JB Weld on that pin myself so I do not know its success. I have used Loctite and have not seen one pop out after that. The condition of the hole has to be looked at though. If that is really oblong it might need a different cover.
