I'm about ready to buy some new gears for my 190XT. My concern is the quality of the gears that yesterdays tractor sells. The price difference between Agco and this site makes me wonder where and why the big difference in price. Has anybody bought and used gears from yesterdays tractor for any model tractor? I would be interested in the ones that use there tractor for regular work on the farm (tilling etc. medium to heavy work not just show) Did you have any problems with the quality? With all the stuff coming from China and being recalled or killing animals I'd rather not take a chance on gears coming from an inferior manufacturer. (not saying yesterdays gears come from China they couldn't tell me or didn't want to)

With all of your concerns you should pony-up and PAY AGCO'S prices.

I do not think my reply was lame. It sounded to me as if you were setting yourself up to be disappointed if you bought set of gears that did not meet you standards. If you are worried about the quality of the gears then you should ONLY buy the OEM set. When you buy the OEM set you know you will be buying OEM quaility.

I put new gears in my Farmall H and had problems with noise. They came from A&I prouducts and were made in Turkey I think. I got them through a local IH case dealer.
