Our Allis chalmers EB (English B) was first registered in 1951 according to the original documentation. However we are not sure how long it was used before registering it for road use.

I know for fergusons you can find out the date and time they came off the production line and how many that day etc. but as yet have found nothing like this for Allis tractors. I was wondering whether allis themselves would have records.

I have trawled the web and can only find info for dating american B's

The Tractor number is: EB5241
Engine Number: ECE2344K

Any info on date would be excellent.

Cheers

Will

there are a couple English boys that hang around the "other" Allis web sight. I think ones name is Dave Everett and he seems to be the local expert on British B tractors and their origin and specs. I wold get his e-mail and talk to him. check allischalmers dot com.

Today's Featured Article - The David Brown Rose Badge - by Samuel Kennedy. In the 13th century civil war was raging in England. Two English noblemen were involved in a conflict which became known as the War of the Roses. The Duke of York had as his emblem a white rose and the Earl of Lancaster had a red rose. Today the white rose is the official emblem of the county of Yorkshire and the red rose has been adopted by the neighboring county of Lancashire. ... [Read Article]
