I have An Allis B with a woods mower deck. The Tractor start great, runs great until I start the PTO to run the mower. With the mower deck running it starts to run rough. I have cleaned the carb twice, replaced the plugs, points, condenser, rotor, coil & cap. It has been coverted to 12 volt with a IH distributor, It has run great until up until recent.

Check the bearings in the deck they could be part of the problem if they are starting to sieze up the acid in the grass is tough on them. T.J.

Check the air cleaner, make sure it is clean. You mention an IH distributor- don't know about the advance mechanism on it, but a Fairbanks-Morse IH mag uses a 35 degree, instead of 30 degree angle, like on an AC mag. Can be set for easy starts or good power, not both.

Could be crud in gas tank partially bloching inlet to sediment bowel.Remove sdeiment bowel and tank and wash out .

If that carb has the non adjustable main jet you might try this. Remove the plug that covers the mani jet and also the drain plug. Spray carb cleaner into the main jet and let it flow out the drain. Then put them back in and see if that helps. My C does the once in a while and if I do that it runs fine for a long time again. Also you timing maybe off a little and you might tweek it a little
