On my G I can not get number 4 cylinder to work. The compression is 100 lbs on all cylinders. It has good fire to the plugs.I am stumped on this one.The tractor had sat for a long time(5 years?)There is also alot of smoke coming out exhaust. No blow by out dipstick. No water in oil or oil in water.Checked the valves and they are all working.Any other ideas before I pop the head off? Thanks.

If you have good compression, there is no reason to pull the head. It isn't firing because of either the lack of fuel or no spark.

No spark. Things that can cause lack of spark on one plug is bad plug, bad plug wire, or a bad distributor cap. If it didn't do this before you did work on it, put back the old parts in the ignition one at a time until you discover the problem. Brand new plugs can be bad. So can wires and caps.

If it is getting good compression, this usually means the intake manifold is all right for that cylinder. Not sure how compression could be good and gas isn't getting to the cylinder - maybe a hole somewhere but it should affect #3 as well.
