Is there supposed to be a gasket between the block and the oil pump? Seems like if it didnt have a gasket there that the oil pump could suck air or loose prime. Let me know what what you all think about this. Thanks!

Yes, there is a thin paper gasket between the block and the oil pump. The gasket comes in a complete gasket set.
AC Part# 233210
AGCO Part# 70233210
Gasket is the same on B, B125, IB, 60H & C
Hope that this helps!

Actually the thin gasket goes under the cover and a thicker gasket in the kit goes up against the block. If you dont have a gasket for it you can make that one out of gasket material. No close tolarances need to be held. The only thing the thickness would change would be how far the drive fork goes over the drive pin in the cam.
