PETE, next time your here for a pull leave it with me and I'll paint it. It wont pull any better but it will be pretty! You got plenty of power to parade! In fact I'm sure your WC went further than my WC saturday. See you this sat for the parade and pull if Ican find a bigger carb ..... Jes' kidden. gh

If you have not done anything to the engine to pull more fuel thru then the carb that is on it will do all you need. If you have it stroked and or larger pistons then a larger carb might be in order. Horse power is made in the engine not the carburetor. Increasing the venturi size will take away lugging power and increasing the fuel will make it run rich which will reduce horse power.

A smaller carburetor often will out perform the original one.The following is a true story. In 1956 OLDSMOBILE used one two barrel, large throttle body and venturi from the factory on the V/8s.Every time you opened the throttle it would fall flat on its face&die because the engine did not have vacum to continue to run.BENDIX/STROMBERG made a replacement which had much smaller venturi and throttle valves. This gave the car instant acceleration and up to 100 MPH and much better MPG.So their are many factors to consider in your case CENTAUR

Maybe one from a WD45 if it would bolt on it would be a little bigger but one problem is you can only put in so much gas before it starts to run to rich and if your engine is stock then you will not gain much if any thing with a bigger carb
