Hi-I have a Allis G I am restoring and got it running but it will not open up on the RPM's.Rebuilt carb.lots of gas to carb.,good fire at plugs.I am lost to why it will not speed up?Any advice?Thanks Mike

Can you get engine speed to increase if you move the throttle by hand? Could be that your governor is stuck preventing the throttle plate from rotating. If it doesn't move easily, disconnect the rod from the throttle going to the governor and try moving the throttle then. If it is free, you could try to start it with the rod disconnected. Be careful when you do this so the engine doesn't over rev.
