I have a model C that I am going to sell. I"m trying to get an idea of reasonable price. It isn"t running at this point. It was running when it was parked about 5 years ago due to moving. It has a woods L59 mower. sheet metal is in fair to good condition. it needs one new front wheel hub, rim, and tire. other tires are fair tread but some cracks, but hold air. thanks in advance for any input, jim in pa

I paid $400 for mine, in good running condition. You can probably get $100 or so more because of the mower.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my C. I would never sell. It's just too useful.

Non running maybe $200-500. Running with the tire problem fixed it could go fr $1000-2000. Any tractor non running is worth very little because the buyer never know if it can be made run or if it had problems when parked. I've got 4 Cs and the most I payed for any of them was $450 and that one came with a belly mount sickle mower. None of the one I got ran when I got them but 2 do run now and the other 2 are parts machines. The big plus on yours is the belly mower

we used to have a new idea, mabee an 8 foort bar i don't know for sure, would a C run something like that? we uset to run it behind out 350u, it had the TA for tought spots and the live PTO for cutting down small trash trees along the roadside

I don't know if a C would run it or not. I know a 300U would play with it. Biggest problem would be the hyds since it has a lift cylinder and I don't know if you could hook it up so the Cs hyds would work it or not

Its a trailor type mower so it just hooks to the draw bar and of course the PTO but it has a hyd cylinder on it to lift to bar

Jim,
I bought a 1943 C like yours back in January for $500. It also had a back blade on it. I worked on it at site and got it to run on the trailer. I spent about $120 on a head gasket, muffler, etc and hope to sell it for $1200.

Steve
