I have a bell housing & gear box w/PTO shaft from a Allis model B-125 power unit.

The ID plate on the housing lists: Bore-3 3/8", Stroke-3 1/2", Displacement-125 cu. in., SN. PU 63550 B.

I want to put together a complete Power Unit. Does a "B" Allis engine fit this bell housing and will any other model Allis fit?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
Bob

Some technical points: The manifold on the B125 power unit in your serial # range had a ventilating cock. The B-C engine was governed at 1500 RPM and the CA at 1700. The B125 was sold with various RPMs at 1500, 1700, and 1850.

yes, the 125 is a normal B motor. It also fit the C and CA tractors. After that the displacement was upped to 138 then 149 for the D series tractors, and all have the same bell housing mount.
