I need help. I lost the cap covering the tank adjacent to the distrubutor. This is where I add engine oil. I have bought two caps sight unseen and neither one fits. What is the name of this tank/opening? Does anyone have an extra cap? I'll trade two for one.

That's the distributer drive housing. Assuming you have the cap that "sort of" screws on, it's only a cap and not a breather. If you can't locate the correct cap, you can do as I did to my brother's WD when he lost his cap. I found a piece of chromed brass sink drain pipe that drove into the opening nice and snug. I left it sticking up just enuf to allow room for an automotive type "slip-on" breather cap. Works perfectly and is similar to the one used on my earlier WD. Incidentally, the real breather cap is located (as with most OHV engines) on top of the valve cover. Out of sight, out of mind, it is often overlooked and not cleaned regularly as it should be.
