I just got what I was told was a CA but when I started looking at it,it may be a C and a CA someone put together.The back half is a 3 speed with # c59965.The front is a dist. motor with steel pistons.The CA had alum. .This I am not sure about.The tractor also has a CA seat.I have a C #52219 and everything is like it should be.Any ideas

Serial # tells it all, plus the fact that it is a three-speed. It's a Model C. CA is a four-speed with Power-Shift rear wheels.

I agree with Bob look in my web site does it look like the C I have. A CA should also have power adjust rear wheels on it

it is probably a c with a after market seat and that someone change to a dist.
the grille on a ca has 2 round cultivator mounts sticking out of the grille near the bottom.
sound like a straight c to me
