Does anyone know how to drain the gear oil out of the final drive of an Allis Chalmers C tractor.

Unfortunately, the only way is to remove the pans. Not really a big deal, though. I just made an interesting discovery about the recommended lube. This info is from original A-C Operating Instruction Manuals. The "B" & "CA" both call for 20W at all times. The "C" calls for: Above 32 degrees: SAE 140, Below 32 degrees: SAE 90. Figure that one out! Capacity is 1-1/2 pints. For comparison, the WD & WD-45 both call for 80EP. I use modern 80/90 gear oil in both my WD & WD-45.
