Does anyone know if the C and CA hoods are interchangeable? We just got a CA but it needs a hood.

New hoods are available, I bought one for my CA a couple of years ago. If you want it right that may be the best way out.

I have a couple of hoods off os Cs I'd sell. I think both have the hole made larger for some reason but thats also common to see in hoods. E-mail is open

The hoods are the same EXCEPT for the hole for the muffler. Some of the newer B's used the same muffler as the CA and would have the larger hole. If you grind the back side of a metal cutting saber saw blade some you can mark the hole and make a smooth round larger hole in a C hood.

Thanks and good idea about the sabre saw blade. Or if I can come up with one, I guess it would be better to just use a CA hood....
