Thanks for the reply Dick. Im just about to get started with the second round of restoration of my c allis #552. Thw first restore wasn"t that good due to it being our only tractor but now having the International 404 utility the C gets very little use and the darn starter ring gear is bad and I was going to replace the rear main seal while I had it split. See I did an inframe on this tractor about 12 years ago and the rear main has always seeped a little oil. I was going to replace the oil pump or rebuild it as I was considering replacing the camshaft bearings. This tractor has had quite a workout since it was rebuilt over 12 years ago. It does not burn any oil but I dont like the oil pressure after it gets hot. I always use a wix or napa cotton packed oil filter with 10/40 oil. I think the biggest part of my oil pressure drop after getting up to operating temp is due to the cam bearings because I didnt replace them when i did the inframe rebuild. If I had it to do over I would have done a complete rebuild the first time. Thanks for the info again Dick. Damon
