I just bought a 1955 AC modal CA. It has a trip bucket loader. I was planning to reconfigure it to be hydraulicly operated. Does anyone kno what the tractor's hydro system operating presure is and GPM. Also is this an open or closed system and what does this mean? I have an idea but, Im not completely sure of the finer points of open vrs closed. One other thing, what is the horse power story on these old units. I see garden tractors at Sears with more rated horspower than these old girls but I think my CA could crunch one of thosed stamped steel scrappers in a secound.
