I've got a 190xt with messed up crank, broken cam, bent valves, etc. Thought it might be a cheaper or better route to go with a complete reman. or short block. Anyone have a good source?

If you go with a reman, make sure it is from a reputable dealer, and a warranty would be nice also. I finally found a machine shop that I trust-I used to work with the head machinist and he knows what he's doing. So I personally would take anything to him, even if it cost more in the long run, I know it's getting done right, and that he'll stand behind his work. The best warranty is one you never have to use. Good luck! Aaron

haven't priced any but I think Agkits.com has cranks, cams, blocks, etc. and if I'm not mistaken I think a saw a price of like $4,600 for a short block...I could be wrong
