Has anyone ever hear of putting an electronic fuel pump on an Allis B? Is this feasible?

I have been reading posts from people with vapor lock problems (myself included) and people with dirt in their fuel systems and people with inline paper fuel filters (some say you can"t use them, others say you can) and I just wondered if anyone had ever tried to use an electronic fuel pump with the paper filter to cure all those problems at once. I would think a small, low pressure pump would work.

Paul, as asked by Old, what would be your thinking for doing that? It is about as simple and operation as they get...the gas flows down from the sediment bowl on the bottom of the tank into the carb below it. Having carb or intake problems maybe? That B, like most tractors is a low reving engine, so you really don"t want to wind up fast or maintain a high RPM even if it it could.

Why would you want to do that?? The fuel system on them have worked well for 50 plus years as it is. If all is correct there is no need for a fuel pump plus the carbs not made to take the pressure a fuel pump would put on it and you would end up with a flooded engine all the time if you did put one on

As Old stated these systems work when their clean and as Old stated the carb wont stand and pressure other than gravity from the tank.
