At a show, I saw two of the nicest Allis G's ever anywhere. Same owner, each had a tiny alternator that easily looked like original equipment. Tucked neatly into place. The tractors are now 12 volt. The owner said he bought the alternators new, said they are Denso, cost $150.00 each. All he knew was the street and city where he bought them. Obviously I could go to that city (60 miles from me) and probably find that business. But if I knew the part number, I could shop online and maybe find a better price shipped to my door. Anyone have any idea about the part number for this alternator?

probably the same alternator used on the small japaneese farm tractors. Check new Kabota and JD 3 diesel tractors. alos saw a stationary IH engine with the small alternatort. look on e-bay under "tractor".

You could contact Denso at www.densoproductd.com/
give them the name of the city and street number
and they may be able to to give you the name of that dealer. If you knew the name the owner of the G's he could give you the model numbers. Have you looked at the Hitachi alternator? Some tractor owners are using these on their tractors and they are smaller. You can get them from any Napa store. Their p/n number is 2138130 and they cost about $50.00. Hal

I have all the information that the owner has. This Denso is considerably smaller than the Hitachi mentioned. I have two of those already.

If you have all the info on the Denso alternator
I would contact them and see where they can be purchased. Do you have the model number? If you do send it to me. Hal

I do not have the model number. The tractor owner has no idea of the model number. He painted them glossy black and any information is unreadable while installed on the tractor. That information is what I hoped the original post would produce.

You could contact Denso and describe the size of the alternator to them. Tell them the size is critical. Do you know the name of the store that is 60 miles from you? They may be familiar with size you are looking for. Hal
