The two of you helped me understand the purpose in bleeding injectors. Your explanation made sense, so I did it with my D-17 after replacing the fuel filters and bleeding everything up to the pump. I turned it over - still nothing (I'm a perpetual skeptic). Loosened all of the fittings to all six injectors but didn't take them off. I blew into the fuel tank just to help the flow of fuel and turned the key. It started quickly but ran badly - but it did stay running. Then I jumped down and started tightening the fittings to the injectors. These fittings were wet but there wasn't any spraying. By the time I got the last one tightened, The 17 was running perfect. Thanks for your advice and help. I know it takes extra effort to explain why rather than just tell what to do. You got it going for me! Thanks again.
