7080 power director xx hi - lo range adjust on lev

i have 7080 with PD XX transmission. it shifts into hi / lo / park but with some difficulty.
i assume it is on cables from range/park shift lever. i have AC parts/ service / operator manual as well as ITT. find nothing. anyone have any experience with this.

Take the floorboard off and the side panel off. Watch how the shifter works. Lube everything up and add a spring to the lever that moves the cable from park to hi/lo. The spring from the panel that holds the cover in front of cab works great. Might need new cables also, but oil those bushings that the shifter pivots on, I usually just spray penetrating oil on them.
