C-gas tank- Seal or just clean?

Checking the sediment bowl I see some good sized rust particles. I pulled off the gas line from the sediment bowl and the gas flow stopped, plugged up at the top of the bowl. Wondering if I should just rinse the tank out with fresh fuel or, remove it and have it boiled out, then seal/re-line it? Tank doesn't leak. If I re-line the tank any recommendations on the sealer?

Dick is right..everyone has their own favorite brand of sealer (I use Por15). Sealing is a good idea even if the tank doesn't leak. The coating is plastic based and seems to eliminate most condensation problems that steel tanks have.

Recommendations are opinions and most people have there favorites. I use Eastwood tank sealer. I have not had a problem with it and I order at www.eastwood.com from my desk and it then is delivered to my desk. I have done six tanks with Eastwood and have two more I would like to do soon. Not sure what year (soon) will be.

They do if you buy the kit. To be real successful the directions need to be followed to the letter.
