Hello,

Can anybody send a couple mug shots of the wide front end on a WD or WD45? I need a straight on shot from the front, and one from underneath and one from the mag side of the engine. I have a power steering front end I'd like to put in place of my narrow front end. It's missing the linkage that goes to the steering shaft though, but am not able to get any good pix of how it was setup.

Thanks for the info. Perhaps throwing out this question shook up the ether. Just yesterday while at work and on my way to Sugarloaf Mtn here in NC, I spied a still in use WD45 in an orchard with the power steering option. Didn't have the camera with me, but will be going back that way next week with the camera for sure.

The factory power steering unit for the WD45, which was an option in 1956, was mounted on the steering shaft, below the gas tank, on the right side. There would be nothing on the front end itself, so pix would be no different than from those that had manual steering.
