Having trouble with this tractor not running right. It will run fine for a while then just quit all at once. I can take the filter off and it is either dry or half full. I can tank the line off from the tank and fuel is running out. I put a new plunger in that primes the fuel filter. Injector pump was reworked three of four years ago. Can anyone help me?

We had this on a 180 for a while. The inlet to the sediment bowel gets debris in it. Remove the sediment bowel and drain/flush the fuel tank real good. Also, if it is your discharge check valve on the injector pump, it will smoke real black and lug down before it quits. After being shut off for a few seconds and the fule pressure bleeds off it will start again with no problem.

My Dad's did the same thing, his was crap in the fuel tank. Evedently it sucks right off the bottom and while running will stop fuel flow. Shut it down and the junk will move away.

There is a check valve in the primer pump that can cause trouble, try plumbing around it and see if that helps. The primer on my 185 wouldn't let enough fuel flow through the check valve so I by passed, runs fine now. The tank on a 185 is high enough that you don't realy need the primer anyway.
