Joe M, Thanks for the information on how to set the whels wider. It looks like 64" is one of the standard settings. I went over to the neighbor's today and we dug the little tractor out of the shed. Tires were low, but holding air. Rears look new. Fronts are mismatched - 1) 4.00-12 wheelbarrow tire, 1) 4.50 - 12 square profile Carlisle. Trans was low n oil. I used 80W90 to refill. Engine oil was dirty, but full. Spinning the engine with the starter showed 75% on the oil pressure gauge. The battery (6V) was dead and hooked up with a negative ground. There is a sticker on the right fender (?) that shows a schematic with a positive ground. When they last used the tractor, it was as found. Does that sound right ? Tractor serial number is G8490, if that matters. There are two switches by the ammeter. One is a toggle switch and the other is a pull type. They pull switch has two positions, so I'm guessing that it is the light switch, leaving the toggle as the ignition. Is that correct ? Thanks again Greg
