Difficult at best to figure out a noise from a typed description. All I could do to help would be to tell you about the noise I had when I was disking the first time fresh plowed ground with my CA. I thought that something was about to give out. I changed gears thinking it might be a bad tooth. I rode the drawbar trying to find where the noise was coming from. All I could think of was it was about to become another parts tractor. Every several rounds it seemed to get louder. I unhooked the disk and went to the shop. I popped the clutch several times and it didnt make a very loud noise. I put it reverse and popped the clutch and thought what ever it was I had just broke it. Popped the clutch again and it was not near as loud. Put in 2nd and popped the clutch and band she went again.
Then I started to say ya big dummy it is the wheel. I got off and see the spin out lock was not tight as well as the eccentrics were not holding and rim was banging against the stop lock. Tightened everything up and the noise was gone.
