I am looking at buying a CA with a Woods belly mower, tractor is in good shape and complete other than faded paint. It runs. Any idea's on what to offer? They are asking 800 for it

I'd give them that much even if it needed a lot of work!

Offer $795 and a 6 pack to celebrate the deal. Oh heck give the asking price and still celebrate, that's a good deal unless the tractor is ready to drop both the engine and transmission.

It is well worth the $800,, A good CA will bring that alone, Make sure the engine is sound and good order, also same for the rest of tractor. If you don't end up picking it up, let me know, I would be very interested..

Turns out the tractor is a 1943 C, with foot brakes. I am not sure how to hook up the belly mower, anyone have a picture of one hooked up?

Ok, not nearly as good a deal as if it had been a CA, but $800 for a good running C and a Woods belly mower in good shape will get you a pat or two on the back.
