C IS A THREE SPEED AND CA IS A FOUR SPEED. CA HAS A DRIVE CLUTCH IN THE RIGH HAND AXLE AND C DOES NOT. CA HAS SPIN OUT REAR WHEELS AND C DOES NOT. HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL.

Full answer: Go to the Article Archives at this site and read article on "The Little AC's".

Quick answer: How many foward gears? If 4, it's a CA.

Also, the CA has traction booster hydraulics like a WD& WD45. A C will have a drawbar in a semi circle from the final drives. Brian

The serial # on top of transmission next to shifter will help. If it is a CA the # will have CA followed by the rest of the number.
