I converted my house from fuel oil heat to electric and have about 200 gal of fuel oil in a tank. Can I use that in my D17 diesel?

Thank you. I posted before I searched the forums and found my answer already. Looks good to me because the former owners used that fuel oil furnace and we bought a heat pump and installed it..... now i have a good use for that fuel oil in the tank..... ..

Years ago I had a pump on my factory heating fuel tank that I filled my tractor from. Its been several years but if I remember correctly I put in a farm tank when they raised the price of heating fuel and didnt on tractor fuel. I havent filled my farm tank for 5 or 6 years and just buy it by a 6 gallon can of diesel when needed.
